Self-Healing Topologies
Cut a mycelium and it does not report an outage. It reroutes, seals the wound, and keeps moving sugar around the damage.
Self-healing isn't a feature bolted onto the network. It's a property of having many equivalent paths and no indispensable one. Resilience is redundancy that got a better name.
Failure domains inherit
When you design a topology, you're also designing what a failure takes down with it. Cluster your critical paths and one severed thread kills a limb; spread them and the same cut is barely felt.
